Every child has something incredible to offer this world, though sometimes it’s concealed by anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, trauma, grief or obsessive-compulsive disorder. I help figure out what’s keeping your child from sharing their gift and give them the skills to do so. When they complete treatment with me, they leave with a toolbox filled with tools ready to help them conquer life’s challenges.
Parenting is the hardest job on the planet. It’s okay to get support! I offer a judgment-free space for you to identify trouble spots, help you parent with intention and celebrate alongside you as you see your relationship with your child flourish.
Families today face many things that try to drive them apart: little time together after work, school and activities, technology that keeps us from being present, generational trauma, addiction – the list goes on. I give families the opportunity to connect, communicate and solve problems as a team.
I act as an advocate and a support for you and your child by attending IEP (Individualized Education Program), 504 Plan and/or SST (Student Study Team) meetings. I have found that collaborating with teachers, school counselors and other school staff can be extremely beneficial in helping your child meet their goals both in therapy and in the classroom.
I educate and lead parents to make changes in their home to prevent screen problems and reclaim their kids from toxic screens, while emphasizing healthy activities, life skill development and family connections.
